Who is behind Walking In The Light?

Walking In The Light is founded by Gail, a Christian woman designing faith filled clothing for women. The label is based on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland and every piece is created prayerfully with scripture and nature as inspiration.

What kind of brand is Walking In The Light?

We are an Australian Christian clothing label that focuses on modest, feminine designs, natural fabrics and ethical manufacturing. Our garments are created to be comfortable, breathable and spiritually meaningful for Christian women.

What makes your designs Christian?

Each design is inspired by the Bible and carries complex biblical meanings in the colours and prints. For example, the “I Am” Christian Dress is themed around passages such as Exodus 3 verse 14, Galatians 5 verse 1, Matthew chapters 27 and 28 and Revelation 1 verse 8, celebrating the identity of God, the sacrifice of Jesus and the freedom we have in Christ.

What is the “I Am” Christian Dress?

The “I Am” Christian Dress is our first release. It is a modest cotton dress for Christian women designed with spiritual intention and everyday comfort in mind. It is a full length, fully lined dress with adjustable straps, an elastic back, a generous skirt and pockets. The soft pink section with little crosses represents the sacrifice of Jesus and the freedom believers have in Him.

What sizes do you offer?

The “I Am” Christian Dress currently comes in sizes XS, S, M, L and XL. Sizing runs generous, so we encourage you to check the sizing guide and consider that the elastic back and adjustable straps allow extra flexibility in fit.

Is the dress suitable for plus size, pregnant or postpartum Women?

Yes. The generous skirt section and elastic back are thoughtfully designed to accommodate a variety of body types and life stages including early pregnancy, postpartum seasons.

I am short. Will the dress be too long for me?

Short queens have been specially considered. The dress has a separate hem so it can be altered if it is too long without losing the beautiful border print at the bottom. This lets you tailor the length to your height while keeping the full design.

What fabrics do you use?

The “I Am” Christian Dress is made from pure one hundred percent cotton and is fully lined for comfort and modesty. We use what we call healthy fabrics, both physically and spiritually, meaning breathable natural fibres paired with ethical sourcing and production.

Is the dress lined?

Yes. The dress is fully lined for coverage and comfort. The liner is intentionally cut to end at the bottom of the pink section so it does not peek out from underneath the main skirt. This detail keeps the finish neat while maintaining modesty.

Do the dresses have pockets?

Yes. The “I Am” Christian Dress includes pockets. This makes the dress practical for everyday wear so you can carry small essentials like your phone, keys or tissues while still enjoying a feminine silhouette.

How do I care for my Walking In The Light dress?

Because our garments are made from natural cotton and lined for modesty, we recommend gentle care. Use a cool or lukewarm wash, avoid harsh chemicals where possible and hang to dry in the shade. Always check the care label inside your garment for specific instructions.

What is your return policy?

We offer a thirty day return policy. You have thirty days from receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached and in the original packaging, and you will need your receipt or proof of purchase.

How do I start a return?

If you would like to request a return, contact us within thirty days of receiving your order with your order details and reason for return. Once approved, you can send the item back following the instructions provided. Items that are worn, damaged or missing tags or original packaging may not be accepted.

Are your products ethically made?

Yes. Ethical manufacturing is a core value for Walking In The Light. We work with professionals who respect fair practices and help us create garments that are ethically sourced and designed. Our goal is to honour God not just in the finished dress but in the way it is produced.
